A little about me...

I’m a CPA with eight years of experience in public accounting. After leaving my corporate role, I launched AO Bookkeeping to help support small business owners with dependable and stress free support.

I love helping entrepreneurs take the stress out of tax time, understand their numbers with confidence, and feel supported every step of the way. My goal is to be both a trusted advisor and your biggest cheerleader throughout your journey!

The fun stuff -

I live in Thunder Bay with my husband and two cats - Mo and Lou. I am obsessed with reading, coffee, a good marg and finding new places to walk.

How much is your monthly bookkeeping service?

Pricing is based on a flat monthly fee, customized to your transaction volume and complexity.

AO Bookkeeping will send you a no obligation quote after determining your monthly bookkeeping needs.

If I don't live in Thunder Bay, can you still do my bookkeeping?

Yes, AO Bookkeeping is a virtual bookkeeper who offers remote services to Canadian small businesses.

If I already have an accountant for my business, do I also need a bookkeeper?

Yes! Your accountant will ensure that your tax returns are filed accurately according to the latest tax laws, while your bookkeeper ensures that the numbers reported are accurate.

At AO Bookkeeping we provide financial reports monthly, not just at tax time. This will allow you to understand how your business is performing each month.

What do I need to provide you before you can start working on my books?

I request read-only online access to banks, credit cards, and your invoicing system (Jane, Stripe, etc.) - this is common practice and will allow me to work efficiently and avoid bothering you monthly for login requests.

Additionally, I will need access to your bookkeeping software - if you do not currently use a bookkeeping software, I will set up an account for you, as I require this for the monthly bookkeeping service.
